About

Welcome to Joseph Fields Farms

My family has been farming all of their lives, but my parents, Robert Sr. and Nancy Fields instilled the principles of farming in all of their children while they were growing up.
I am a certified welder by trade, but farming is the love of my life. I became a full time farmer in 1975, but approximately fifteen years ago I began a sole-proprietorship, Joseph Fields Farms.
Currently, I am farming fifty acres, which consist of beans, tomatoes, pickles, cucumbers, squash, corn, peas, peppers, melons, scallions onions, beets, lettuce, carrots, blueberries, strawberries, potatoes, okra, collards, cabbage, spinach, and may other tasty veggies, The planting all of which, is staggered.
Over five years ago I started towards the goal of planting chemical-free produce. I saw the need to help, and heard the call of the public. Today I am “CERTIFIED ORGANIC.”
Thank you for your patronage and please call if I can be of assistance to you. — Joseph Fields, owner
